Visa information:

A foreign visitor to China must have a valid passport and, in most cases, an appropriate Chinese visa, we provide some tips to get a Chinese Visa.

First, please check with your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate General for your visa application details at your first convenience.  (Online information available at here)

In general, a Tourist Visa (L Visa) will be sufficient to visit the center.  You do not need to show a letter of invitation issued by SCMS to apply for a Tourist Visa.  However, if it is required that a visit/study/exchange Visa (F Visa) is a must, you probably need a letter of invitation issued by SCMS with your personal information. You will need to provide us the photocopy of your passport containing your personal information as below:

Please contact SCMS staff listed in the contact information of the specific program you decide to participant if you need an official invitation letter or other supporting documents for visa purpose, such as hotel reservation letters etc. The issued documents will be sent by email. Individuals requiring original invitation letter are requested to specify their needs and allow for longer delivery time.
